In this article, I will describe everything about Photo-shop type (Paragraph panel ). The paragraph panel carries so many options. Some of them are: paragraph Alignment option, justification option, indent options, paragraph spacing options, and many more options are there. The paragraph panel is really very helpful for us to execute our work accurately.

How can you gain the paragraph panel?
The character panel and Paragraph panel always nested together into a one-panel set. There is an easy and quick technique to gain the paragraph panel. Go to the top and pick out the window menu from the menu bar. Select the “ Paragraph ” option from there.
You can try another way also. Go to the top of the display < go to the options bar < press on the character and paragraph panels symbol. After pressing on the character and paragraph symbol, the character and paragraph panel set will be opened. The group will naturally open the paragraph panel only if you picked the paragraph beneath the window menu. From the option bar, if you press on the character and paragraph panel symbol then the group will unlock the character panel. But you can quickly and conveniently change the panel mode. There will be a tab based on their name. Just press on the tab which is named “ paragraph ”. After pressing on the paragraph’s tab, the paragraph panel will be opened immediately.
Alignment options: In the top of the paragraph panel, there is a series of symbols. With the help of these symbols, we can orient, manage and justify our text. On the left side, you will find three symbols. These three symbols are known as alignment options. The first three symbols are known as “ Left Align Text ”, “ Center Text ”, “ Right Align Text ”. Photo-shop sets the Left Align Text option by default. But you can change it if you want.
If you select the default shape or the “ Left Align Text ” for your line, it will set all your letters/types with the left margin of the text box.
If you select the center text, then the “ center text ” option will set all the lines and letters at the center of the paragraph.
If you select the “ Right Align Text ” for your type, then the “Right Align text” option will set the type with the right side of the text box.
Justification Options: In the paragraph panel, the first three symbols are known as Alignment options (Left text box, center box, right text box). Then you will find four more symbols there. These four symbols are placed in a series. These four icons are the “ Justification options ”. From left to right, you will find four options. These four options are known as: Justify Last Left, Justify last Centered, Justify Last Right and the last option is known as Justify All. You will find all these four options in the Paragraph panel. You can not get these four options any other place. As a matter of fact, all these options are found only in the paragraph panel. You can find out the alignment options in the options bar but you can not get the justification options in the options bar.
The moment we select any type of justification option, photo-shop automatically again improves the distance between the letters and the words in a way so that each particular line of the paragraph covers the whole width of the text box from left to right, generating a “block ” of text. Photo-shop manages and modifies the last line in the paragraph and this is the actual dissimilarity between these four options .
If you select the “Justify Last Left ” option, then the “ justify Last Left option ” sets the last line of the paragraph to the left side.
If you select the “Justify Last Centered ” option, then “ justify Last Centered option ” sets the last line of the paragraph to the centers.
If you select the “Justify Last Right ” option, then the “ justify Last Centered option ” sets the last line of the paragraph to the right side.
If you select the “Justify All ” option, then the “ Justify ALL ” option justifies the whole paragraph as well as the last line. It creates space in the words so that it covers the whole width of the text box.
Indent Options: You will find three more symbols under the Alignment and justification symbols. These three options are called “ Indent Options ”. The top left symbol is known as “ Indent Left Margin ”, the top right symbol is known as “ Indent right margin ”, the bottom left symbol is known as “ Indent first line ”. Here, every symbol’s value is set as 0 pt by default. With the help of these options, we can include space between the whole paragraph, and also we can include space on the left side and the right side of the text box. Besides these, we can include space only in the first line.
If you want to alter the indent option, then press on the inside of the value box and set the value. If anyone is using photo-shop cs or a newer version of photo-shop then simply use your mouse on the option’s symbol to the left of the input box. Press and hold the mouse button and pull the left side or right side as per your wish. If you pull out into the right side then the indent value will be increased and if you pull out into the left side, then the indent value will be decreased. It completely depends on you whether you want to decrease the value or increase the value.
If you use the “indent left margin ” option and increase the value of it , then space will be included on the left side of the paragraph as well as on the left side of the text box.
If you use the “right-align text ” option and increase the value of “indent right margin ” option , then space will be included on the right side of the paragraph as well as on the right side of the text box.
If you use the “left align text ” option from the paragraph panel and increase the value of the “indent first line ” option, then it will align the script to the left side of the text box and it will indent only the first line. You can set any value whatever you want.
Paragraph Spacing Options: You will find two more symbols below the Indent options. paragraph offers us two more options for including space. We can include the space before or after a paragraph using these two options “Add space before paragraph” and “Add space after paragraph ”. “ Add space before paragraph” option is situated on the left side and “ Add space after paragraph ” option is situated on the right side.
If you want to use the “add space before paragraph”, then Select any paragraph and set the value of it. It will include space above the selected paragraph. To execute all the changes you have made, press on the tick-mark in the options bar. Also, you can press the ENTER key. To finalize the changes, press on the CTRL+ENTER (windows) / Command+Return (mac).
Hyphenate: In the paragraph panel, the last option is known as “Hyphenate”. It is activated by default. This option is beneficial when you apply the justification option. It helps to split the lengthy words into individual lines. It creates space into the scripts in a way so that everything looks gorgeous. If you do not like this option, then you can deactivate this option.
How can you reset the paragraph panel: After finishing your work, reset the paragraph panel. Go to the top < go to the right side < press on the menu bar < select the “reset paragraph ” option. It will reset the paragraph panel immediately.
