Step 1: Opening the Panel for Brushes in Photoshop
Open your Brushes panel by going to the window menu in the Menu Bar and selecting Brushes to download all the new brushes that can be found in Photoshop CC.
Default Brushes of Photoshop
The Brushes Panel comprises, default, four folders, each of which represents one of four Photoshop brush sets. The first set, General Brushes, contains standard round brushes from Photoshop. The three sets below are new Kyle T brush sets (Dry Media, Wet Media and Special Effects Brush).
Click on a folder icon to twirl the set open to view the brushes inside the set. A total of 20 brushes are available. The Dry Media Brushes set, comprising six different brushes, has been opened here.
Step 2: Choose ‘Brushes Get More’
Click the menu icon in the upper-right corner of the Brushes panel to access the more than 1000 extra brushes that Adobe Creative Cloud subscribers have available. Then select Get More Pins from the menu. You will then enter your web browser and visit the website of Adobe, where you can find links for downloading 15 brush sets.
Step 3: A Brush Set Download
Click its Download button to download one of the sets. The MEGAPACK that includes more than 300 brushes will be downloaded:
Step 4: The Into Photoshop Brushes Install
You’ll find it in the folder “Downloads” on your computer when the file has been downloaded. Make sure Photoshop runs first to install the brush set. Click on the downloaded file double-click. The “.abr” file extension of Brush Sets is after its name.
Step 5: Choose a Panel Brush
Once you’ve installed the brush set, you can find it in Photoshop’s Brushes panel. Turn open the folder to select a new set brush. You will have over 1000 new Brussels to test and experiment with when all 15 brush sets are downloaded and installed. You got it there!
